buy only the highest quality components. You need solid name brands! Open up a Gateway computer and you will find there are
no manufacturer names on any of the parts. You know why? Because they only use generic parts they can buy cheaply. HP and
Dell are the exact same. They use the cheapest parts they can find because they want to try to keep prices low. If you
buy a day trading computer from a reputable source, you will be so much happier in the long run. Trust me, I did!
Second, for the fastest and best looking graphics you want to consider buying a video card that has DVI or HDMI output. The old analog, also known as VGA outputs (the blue connectors), are outdated, slow and have poor video quality relative to the newer DVI and HDMI outputs. Both DVI and HDMI carry a digital video signal. Ones and Zeros and provide faster transmission and much higher resolution and definition. So if you have the right slots on your motherboard, you can easily set up a machine that has 4 DVI outputs but installing 2 Dual DVI video cards. Low Price Dual DVI cards run as little as $70 delivered and would make an excellent choice. The Nvidia 9500GT Dual DVI with 1 GB of RAM also makes a very good lower priced card that is super fast and has proven performance for trading computers. They cost about $85 delivered each.
